Branding
Upload your logo and control how your name appears across the site.
Branding is where you upload the logo that appears in your public site's header and the favicon (the little icon in browser tabs). You'll find it in the admin sidebar under Branding, alongside Theme and Navigation.
Who can use this
Anyone with an admin or moderator role at your organisation can manage branding. Every change is recorded in your organisation's activity log.
What's on the page
At the top you'll see a Current branding card with a header preview, so you can see roughly how your logo and name will look on the live site, plus whether a favicon is set. Below that, the Logo & favicon card holds two sections — one for each image — where you upload, replace or remove your files.
Step by step
Upload or replace your logo
- In the Logo section, select Upload logo… (or Replace logo… if one already exists), or drag an image file onto the dashed drop zone.
- The logo previews instantly. When an image already exists, you'll see a side-by-side Current → New comparison.
- If the image is small or low quality, an amber warning suggests a better size — you can still keep it.
- Fill in the Alt text field so screen readers can describe your logo (it defaults to your organisation's name followed by "logo").
- Select Save branding in the bar at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
Upload or replace your favicon
- In the Favicon section, select Upload favicon… (or Replace favicon…), or drag a square image onto the drop zone.
- If the image isn't square or is smaller than 48×48px, you'll see a warning — browser tabs expect a square icon.
- Select Save branding to apply.
Remove a logo or favicon
- Under the relevant section, select Remove logo or Remove favicon. The preview shows it will be removed.
- Changed your mind? Select Undo remove before saving.
- Select Save branding to confirm.
Discard a staged upload
If you've uploaded a new image but haven't saved yet, select Discard upload to drop it and keep what you had.

Tips & FAQ
- Where's the "show club name next to the logo" option? That toggle lives on the Navigation page, not here.
- Nothing happens after I upload. Uploading only stages the image — you must select Save branding to publish it. Until you do, your live site is unchanged.
- My logo looks blurry. Aim for a wide image around 400×120px or larger. The warning that appears is a hint, not a block.
- Save didn't work. If a save fails, a pop-up explains why. Check the file size and format and try again.
- Branding pairs with your Theme colours to set your site's overall look. Adding a custom web address? See Domains.
