Image licence

Who owns the images published on ClubHelix, and how to ask permission to use one.

Last updated: 31 August 2026

This page covers the images you will find on this site and on the club sites ClubHelix hosts. Ownership differs by image, so each kind is set out separately below. ClubHelix is a registered business name of a sole trader (ABN 94 817 471 185).

Product screenshots and marketing images

The screenshots on our feature, solutions and guide pages are taken on the ClubHelix Demo club, which runs on sample data we created — no real member, payment or club information appears in them. Those images, and the rest of the artwork on clubhelix.com, are © ClubHelix. All rights reserved.

You may reproduce a ClubHelix screenshot unaltered, and credited to ClubHelix, when you are writing about the product — a review, a news article, a comparison, a club committee paper, or documentation for your own members. Please link back to the page you took it from where the format allows it. Anything beyond that — editing or re-branding a screenshot, using one in your own advertising, or implying that ClubHelix endorses your product or service — needs our written permission first.

How to request a licence

Email hello@clubhelix.com with the URL of the page the image is on, the image itself or its file name, and where you would like to use it. We answer image requests from press, partners and customers, and we can usually supply a higher-resolution copy or an up-to-date version of a screenshot. If you would rather talk it through first, use our contact page.

Photos published by clubs

Photo galleries, news images and team photos on a club’s own ClubHelix site belong to that club or its photographer, not to us. Every upload carries a rights confirmation from the administrator who published it, and the structured data on a gallery page credits the club accordingly. We can’t grant permission to reuse a club’s photo — please contact the club directly, and read the terms published on its site.

Stock photography in demo and template content

The photographs in our demo clubs, site templates and sample content are free-licence stock photos supplied by Unsplash and used under the Unsplash licence. They are placeholders that show a club what its site could look like, and they are not ours to license on. If you want to use one, take it from Unsplash under that licence rather than from us. Every club is free to replace them with its own photographs, and we recommend it.

Reporting an image problem

If you believe an image on ClubHelix or on a club site we host infringes your copyright, email hello@clubhelix.com with the page URL, the image, and enough detail to identify your rights in it. We investigate every report and will remove infringing content.
